Dear John,We’re no stranger to primaries and runoff elections down here in Georgia – in fact, I’ve had to win several of them to win and keep my seat in Congress, including last month’s. And while I’m headed back to Congress for another term, my good friend Charlie Bailey is locked in a tight battle for the Democratic nomination for Lieutenant Governor. And no, it’s not a dance-off (Charlie would have that locked up, see below), it’s a runoff election coming up in eleven days on June 21st.

John – like I said, we need an Abrams-Bailey ticket to stand up to the chaos that Brian Kemp’s administration has brought to our state’s government. From passing a restrictive abortion ban to loosening our already patchwork gun laws, to torpedoing our voting rights, the Kemp administration has been downright awful for Georgians over the last four years.

I know if Charlie is elected, he’ll work with future Governor Abrams to finally expand Medicaid, advocate for (not against) abortion rights, and address not only public safety reform but the root causes of crime and poverty as well.

But in order to make that happen, John , we’re going to need to help Charlie win his upcoming Runoff Election on June 21st and give us an Abrams-Bailey ticket.
