Meet Claudine

Dear Friend,

 

**Have you heard about the ripples Light Mothers are making?**Mamans Lumières, or ‘Light Mothers’, are incredible woman who volunteer their time to provide practical advice and support to other mothers in their communities.

 

As they pass on knowledge and skills to others, they are helping to fight hunger and child malnutrition—how amazing is that!

 

**Meet Claudine, a Light Mother from Mwaro province, Burundi, who has been volunteering for three years. Watch the video to find out about the vital work Claudine does, and how you can support more volunteers like her.**

As Project Facilitator for Ripple Effect Burundi, I have seen firsthand the difference Light Mothers like Claudine are making in their communities. Every day, they are supporting families to put food on the table and fight malnutrition. 

 

**Over the coming weeks, I will share with you more about Claudine and the mothers she has been working alongside. I hope you are as inspired by her story as I am.**
