John,

Air pollution kills tens of thousands of people in the UK each year.

Baroness Jenny Jones' Clean Air (Human Rights) Bill, also known as Ella's Law, could make a huge difference to air quality in our towns and cities.

We need your support to raise the profile of #EllasLaw on Clean Air Day (16 June), on social media and with an event at Westminster.

Image of Ella Roverta Adoo Kissi-Debrah with the text: Ella Roberta Adoo Kissi-Debrah died on 15 February 2013 aged nine. She was the first person in England to have air pollution named as a cause of death by a coroner. Every year, tens of thousands of people around the UK are killed by air pollution. It's time to clean up the air in our towns and cities. It's time for Ella's Law.

So, what can you do?

💚 Download the campaign pack, which includes details of the Westminster event and social media materials you can share.

💚 Respond to the government's consultation on air quality targets, which closes on 27 June. Asthma & Lung UK has created an online tool to help people respond to this, here>>

The campaign pack also includes a link to a tool where you can find out the air quality at your address.

We've been shocked by just how bad this is in towns and cities around the UK. For years, governments have failed to take effective action to improve air quality to safe levels. Ella’s Law can change this.

Please support this Bill, come to Westminster, share on your socials and contact your local media. You are vital to its success.

In hope,

Green Party

p.s. You can write to your local MP here. Tell them why you expect them to back Ella's law as it goes through Parliament.
