2021 was the worst year for abortion rights in nearly half a century. But with SCOTUS gearing up to overturn Roe, things are likely to get even worse.

Here’s what’s happening:

Last year alone, 546 abortion restrictions were introduced across 42 STATES.
Without Roe v. Wade, trigger laws that ban or severely restrict abortion will automatically go into effect in 13 STATES and up to 26 STATES are certain or likely to ban abortion.
If Republicans outlaw abortion, the health care of 160 MILLION people will be at risk.
Democrats put forth a bill to CODIFY Roe into law, but Senate Republicans BLOCKED it.
8 in 10 Americans believe abortion should remain legal, but the GOP continues to assault abortion rights every chance they get. And now, with Roe likely to be overturned, they may finally be able to BAN ABORTION on a national scale.

But there’s hope: Democratic governors are our last line of defense, and they’re fighting to protect our rights. In states like Nevada, Illinois, and New Mexico, Democratic governors have already signed legislation to protect abortion access. And in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, they’ve vetoed dangerous anti-abortion bills.

But Dem Govs can’t save abortion access without your help.
