Republican Party of Wisconsin

June 10, 2022

John --

We hope you are having a great June! Wisconsin Republicans have been full steam ahead since our State Convention in May, and we are looking forward to more events across the state as we bring our message to every corner of Wisconsin.

This weekend, our grassroots activists across the state will be having a Weekend of Action and talking to critical voters. Sign up here to get involved this weekend to support Senator Johnson in this crucial election.

As we continue to ramp up our efforts ahead of November, we are looking for conservatives who are ready to join the fight. If you haven’t already, you can sign up to volunteer here.

As always, thanks for all you do!

The Republican Party of Wisconsin is excited to celebrate National Dairy Month! Wisconsin is home to nearly 1.3 million dairy cows who produce 88 million pounds of milk each day. Republicans are proud to celebrate the farmers who feed our state and greatly contribute to our economy.

Last week, the Milwaukee Common Council voted unanimously to approve a framework for Milwaukee to host the 2024 Republican National Convention. As Chairman Paul Farrow said in our press release, this unanimous vote was yet another testament to the broad support our bid has received from elected officials across the political spectrum, the business community, and the public. A 2024 Milwaukee convention would bring hundreds of millions of dollars to Wisconsin and would allow us to speak directly to America’s Heartland. No matter the outcome, we are inspired by how the Milwaukee community has come together in support of this effort.” We look forward to hearing the RNC’s final selection this summer!

Senator Ron Johnson submitted over 30,000 nomination signatures to get on the November ballot – breaking the state record previously set at 13,000 and doubling the number of signatures of all major Democrat candidates combined! Despite millions in Democrat spending, Senator Johnson is breaking records because of the unprecedented energy behind him. The momentum is on the side of Senator Johnson and Republicans, and this historic accomplishment was just the start.

As veterans endure horrific abuse at the Veterans Home at Union Grove, Tony Evers’ administration is shifting blame, despite previously refusing resources to address the facility’s abysmal quality of care. According to reports by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Wisconsin Spotlight, veterans at the Union Grove home are suffering from “cruel treatment” while state officials are failing to take complaints seriously. Our brave men and women who have served our country deserve better than to be told to “suck it up,” but it’s par for the course under Tony Evers’ mismanaged state government.

In Case You Missed It…

FACT CHECK: Democrats Shift Blame for Soft-on-Crime Failures

Democrats know that rising crime will be a major campaign issue in 2022 – yet instead of owning up to their failures, they’re trying to blame Republicans. In another negative ad from the left, the liberal PAC Majority Forward took an empty swing at Senator Johnson’s voting record on crime, but neglected to mention Democrats’ history of emboldening far-left movements like “defund the police” while failing to hold bad actors accountable.

What They’re Saying: Inflation Pummels Wisconsinites at the Pump

Across Wisconsin, families are hurting from Democrat-fueled inflation at the pump. As the state average hits $4.80 a gallon, prices in communities like Milwaukee and Kenosha have already topped $5 per gallon following a year of massive spending and anti-energy policies under Joe Biden. Meanwhile, without Wisconsin Republicans gas prices would be even higher, given that Tony Evers had tried to raise the gas tax. Wisconsinites need leaders who will take real steps to lower prices – not ask taxpayers to fund even more bloated government spending.

SHOT/CHASER: Tony Evers’ Two-Faced Campaign

Tony Evers knows that the only way he stands a chance in November is by misleading voters. In his most recent attempt, Evers launched new ads claiming that he is “doing the right thing” for businesses – ignoring the fact that he crippled Main Street businesses with his harmful lockdowns that were eventually struck down by the state Supreme Court.
