DSA For Rashida Southfield Canvas Saturday, June 11th,
1-3PM
Join us this Saturday at 1pm in Southfield (launching from
Oak Park) for the next DSA For Rashida canvass! This is a great
opportunity to talk to folks about Medicare For All, a Green New Deal,
cancelling student debt, labor solidarity, and more! No experience
necessary, we will pair you up with another experienced canvasser if
it's your first time.

Join us on Sunday, 6/12 at 1PM for Metro Detroit DSA’s first
IN PERSON New Member Meet & Greet!
We want you to attend whether you’re brand
new to DSA, a longtime lurker, or someone
who has been involved for a while and wants to meet
and organize for socialism with some new friendly faces!
We’re going to listen to each other and talk about our
personal values and goals, as well as DSA’s
next steps, both in a larger group and in small breakouts.
We’ll ask and answer questions, and plan a better future,
together!

Socialist Book Club: Whose Detroit? w/Heather Thompson Sunday,
June 26th, 4-6PM Location TBD
All are welcome to join! We'll be joined by the author,
Heather Thompson. Once you sign up, additional
supplementary materials will be available. This book is available at
libraries as well as for purchase. The 2017 edition
has an updated introduction and is
preferred.
