Lt. Gov. Crouch statement on Mitch Daniels stepping down as president of Purdue University
STATEHOUSE ? Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch offered the following statement regarding Mitch Daniel's announcement that he'll be stepping down as president of Purdue University at the end of the year:
"As a member of the Indiana House, I had the privilege of working with Gov. Daniels during his eight years in office. Mitch is a great leader and a champion for Hoosiers. Together, we tackled some of the biggest challenges facing our state. As he moves on from my alma mater, I wish him continued success in his future endeavors."

The Lieutenant Governor serves as the President of the Indiana Senate, Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, chairs the Indiana Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Task Force, and oversees four state agencies.
