We just counted up the number of attacks on Adam that aired across Trump’s favorite TV channels — Fox News, Newsmax and OANN in the last 24 hours. We won’t even get into Twitter. Jeez Louise. Before we get into it, can you rush a donation to help us respond to the attacks that are already coming in fast from the right-wing propaganda machine?

There have been dozens and dozens of them. From Fox News hosts. From Trump’s ultra MAGA Republican Members of Congress. From Republican gadflies. And more. Vicious attacks.

We wonder why. Do you think it has anything to do with Adam’s efforts to hold Trump accountable?

Here’s just a taste from Fox News’ primetime host Jesse Waters:

“And then there is Shifty [Adam] Schiff. He has been trying to take down Trump for years. He was the number one pusher of the Russia hoax. He intentionally lied to the American people claiming that Trump colluded with the Kremlin, and was Putin’s asset. Meanwhile, the whole time he knew that there was never any evidence. He lied during the investigation. He lied during the impeachment hearings…”

Every single statement this Fox News host made is a lie. And he knows it. (Apparently, they think that giving Trump’s internal campaign polling day and battleground plans to Russian intelligence while the Kremlin helped their campaign was just good old-fashioned cheating with the enemy.)

Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson got into it, too. We just won’t share their particular brand of bile here.

Even Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, who has repeatedly promised to retaliate against Adam and kick him off his committees for holding Trump accountable, attacked too:

“Just saying that name should be enough. But we watched what Shift (sic) has done to our country. The years of lying about the Russian hoax. The changing of evidence…”

Again, all lies. But we'd expect nothing less from Kevin.

We don’t need to tell you this, but these are all very desperate people. Swinging wildly to distract and deflect, all while defending a twice-impeached, dangerously unethical former president.

And McCarthy is not alone. Jim Jordan, Elise Stefanik, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz have all attacked Adam in the last few days. Repeatedly.

But listen, although these attacks on Adam and his work are patently false, they still take a real toll. And we need to respond.
