Yesterday, the FBI arrested Republican candidate for Michigan governor Ryan Kelley on charges related to his involvement in the January 6 attacks on the U.S. Capitol. I am glad to see our legal system work to hold accountable those who threaten our democracy — but my extremist opponent and Trump superfan John Gibbs disagrees, insisting that Kelley was targeted because of partisan bias.
