In 2020, Mike Garcia only beat Christy by only 333 votes. If every single person reading this email had turned out and voted, Chisty would have won.
CA-27 is one of the most flippable districts in 2022. With abortion access, commonsense gun safety reform, voting rights, and so much more on the line, the outcome of this race is extremely important. And as we saw in the primaries, this race is extremely competitive.
Mike Garcia loves to claim he's a moderate, but a quick look at his voting history tells a very different story.
Garcia voted against the Women's Health Protection Act, which would expand abortion access. He voted against the Equality Act, which would prohibit the discrimination of LGBTQ+ individuals based on sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity. He voted against the For the People Act, which would expand voting access. He voted against the Protect Our Kids Act, legislation that would pass sweeping gun reform. AND he even voted to undermine our democracy and overthrow the 2020 election.
I don't know about you, but that does not sound moderate to us.
The House majority is hanging in the balance, and CA-27 is a must-win to protect this majority.
