Women's March

Hey John,

It’s David Hogg, one of the co-founders of March For Our Lives. I’m reaching out to Women’s Marchers about something important.

Tomorrow, June 11, we are once again taking to the streets in Washington D.C. and in sibling marches across the country to demand our political leaders take action to end gun violence. Over two million Women’s Marchers took the streets in the #Enough walkouts in 2018. We need you with us right now.

This is a moment that will be referenced in history as a turning point in the movement to end gun violence. You can help fund the upcoming marches and fuel the fight for gun violence prevention by splitting a donation between March For Our Lives and Women’s March today:

Four years ago, I marched alongside my classmates and millions of people across the world. I marched for our lives and I marched so that future generations could live their lives free from gun violence. I’m angry that nothing has changed. I’m devastated for the communities in Buffalo, Uvalde, and so, so many more.

This isn’t a Republican or Democrat issue. This is about kids dying.

No one knows more about how difficult it is to organize marches than Women’s Marchers. But you know how essential a demonstration of people power is to force NRA-backed political leaders to take action to end gun violence. Their misleadership has lead to preventable tragedies and innocent lives lost. We will not wait any longer. This time it will be different.

John, we cannot ignore that this work will take enormous amounts of time, money, and resources. Can you please split a donation of $15 or more today between March For Our Lives and Women’s March to support our shared movement to end gun violence?

We do not have to keep living this way. We need our political leaders on both sides of the aisle to work together to pass common-sense gun safety legislation. On June 11th we’ll send a message to them collectively: we demand action now.

Thanks for your support,

David Hogg, co-founder and Board Member
