There’s a really important deadline coming up for Ayanna and our campaign.
In just three weeks, our campaign will have to submit a public report to the FEC, disclosing how much we’ve raised over the past three months.
Once our numbers become public, opponents and special interests will be looking to see the strength of Ayanna’s re-election campaign. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by Wednesday, June 15 to ensure we’re on track to file the strongest FEC report possible.
In Congress, Ayanna is advocating and legislating to make progress on issues of consequence for all of our communities. She is fighting every day for policies like meaningful gun control, student debt cancellation, Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and the People’s Justice Guarantee.
But Ayanna’s bold, activist leadership has made her a target of the far-right, and super PACs and conservative mega-donors are already spending tens of millions of dollars to defeat her and other progressives.
We have to show our grassroots movement is strong — and only getting stronger. That’s why we’re writing today, ahead of this big end-of-quarter FEC deadline.
