john,

Last night, the first of several public hearings from the House Select Committee to investigate the January 6th attack on the Capitol commenced. It was revelatory.

In methodical detail, the Committee made the case that not only was the attack on the Capitol planned in advance with violent domestic terrorist groups, but that President Donald Trump holds responsibility for what happened, starting with his refusal to tell the truth after the election.

In the coming weeks, America will learn even more damning details about how Republicans riled up their base of supporters based on the Big Lie, were incited by Donald Trump, and violently mobbed the Capitol in an attempted coup to overturn a free and fair election.

Already, the GOP is desperately attempting to downplay the findings from the Committee, they’re shamefully telling the American public that it’s not important.

They’ll flood the airwaves to sow doubt in the Committee’s findings, and use it to smear Democrats across the country.

I’m not going to let Republicans continue to dodge the truth, but I can’t do that alone. We need to be ready to fight back, john, and I’m asking you to join me.

Can you pitch in $10 or whatever fits your budget so we can fight back against the lies, hold Republicans accountable, and ensure that we have the resources to share the truth about January 6th?

Republicans’ actions continue to corrode the foundations of our democracy by casting doubt on our electoral process, supporting conspiracy theorists running for offices across the country, and doing everything they can to show loyalty to the two-time loser of the popular vote, Donald Trump.

But these hearings give us the opportunity to set the record straight, and we can’t miss this chance to amplify the truth. The future of our democracy depends on it.

Please, if you can, make a contribution to our campaign, and help power our work to protect democracy and protect the Democratic Senate majority >>

It means so much to have your support, especially right now in this crucial moment in history.
