I first got my start in public service as an advocate, helping to ensure that children like my son, Ben, who experiences severe disabilities, would be fully included in their communities and have the same opportunities that all parents want for their children. 

Serving the people of New Hampshire as State Senator, Governor, and now U.S. Senator has been the honor of my life. And I'm committed to continue delivering on the issues that matter most to Granite Staters.

I'm writing today because I won my last race by just 1,017 votes in one of the closest Senate races in history, and this year the stakes are even higher. 

When you win by less than half a percentage point, your campaign has to be as strong as possible in every aspect.

That's where you come in, team: Winning and preserving our Democratic majority in the Senate will take all of us coming together, so I'm counting on you. If you believe in our grassroots-powered movement, will you add your name to endorse me for reelection?

Your grassroots support helped us secure the 1,017 votes we needed to flip this seat in 2016. Your enthusiasm in 2020 helped Democrats flip the Senate and win the White House. And with you on my team, we are going to take on the tough fight ahead and keep this seat and our Senate blue this November.

But as I said, I only won my last election by 1,017 votes, and this election year is going to be just as tough. If I lose here, Democrats will lose the Senate majority, paving the way for Mitch McConnell's extreme agenda.
