I hope your summer is off to a great start and that you’re enjoying the beautiful weather we’re having. I’m writing to update you on three opportunities to get involved with our campaign. We have something for everyone, even the kids who are home for the summer!
First, we’re kicking off our campaign season by hosting a Joint Doorknock on June 18th at 10am with State Senate candidate Dr. Alice Mann. Join me and Alice to speak with voters about their priorities and encourage them to vote blue in November.
Next, I’d love to have you join me for Edina’s 4th of July Parade. We will gather at 9:15am for a 10am parade. We need a strong group of supporters to walk with our campaign teams and help pass out candy to community members.
And lastly, we are happy to offer students an opportunity to learn more about the political process by volunteering for a political campaign! We’re launching our Summer Internship Program, which has flexible hours and many ways for students to get involved.
I am excited to work with you to keep this district in DFL hands this November. Let's start this summer off strong by speaking with community members about the issues that matter most to them. Please join us as we reach out to our neighbors!
