"Alabama Arise is working to limit the health coverage losses that may occur when the public health emergency declaration ends," Arise's Jane Adams told the Alabama Political Reporter. 

Reckon South: Medicaid expansion in Alabama: A voter’s guide

Arise's Cover Alabama campaign featured heavily in this overview by Reckon South. The piece highlighted an Arise poll showing strong public support for Medicaid expansion and new research projecting that expansion would save Alabama more than it would cost.

Reckon South: Child care in Alabama: An issue guide for voters

Arise is mentioned as one of the state's leading advocates for affordable child care in this overview by Reckon South. The piece examined the child care barriers that Alabama families face, as well as some policy solutions that would help address those challenges.

What Matters, Gulf Coast: Episode 54: Untaxing groceries with Carol Gundlach

Arise's Carol Gundlach spoke to "What Matters, Gulf Coast" about Alabama's grocery tax and the burden it places on average families. Carol explained how legislation to untax groceries would help every Alabamian while also protecting funding for public schools.

Alabama Arise is "fighting to make sure no person has to decide between paying for food or paying for rent, or the doctor, or running water, or child care," Arise's Robyn Hyden wrote in a recent Episcopal Church newsletter. "And each year, we chip away at unjust systems and slowly build an Alabama where we value the common good and the dignity of all."
