The impending SCOTUS decision has been on my mind every single day this month. If Roe is overturned, abortion will immediately become illegal in 13 states with 13 more states likely to follow soon after, including Florida.

This is why we need Congress to finally pass a bill securing reproductive freedom, and we can only do that by electing pro-choice candidates who have proven to be passionate defenders of reproductive justice.

With Florida being an increasingly red state, I will need your help defending my seat and continuing the fight for safe and accessible abortions for all.

At the end of this month, my campaign will face our most important end-of-quarter Federal Election Commission (FEC) deadline so far this year – will you help reach my goal of $20,000 before then so we can protect our Democratic House majority?

Last year, I led the passage of the Women’s Health Protection Act in the House, which defends a pregnant person’s right to decide whether or not they want to have a child. Regretfully, but not shockingly, this legislation was blocked by Senate Republicans.

If the GOP takes the House, they will continue to take away critical, life-saving reproductive health care from those who need it the most.
