Any day now, the Supreme Court will announce its decision in the case that could overturn Roe v. Wade. If their draft opinion stands, the fundamental right to an abortion that Americans have exercised for generations will be gone.

I'll be honest: I'm awaiting this news with a heavy heart. But I'm writing to you today to let you know I haven't -- and never will -- lose hope or give up this fight. If you're with me and believe the right to choose must be codified into federal law, sign your name now.

Bodily autonomy is a fundamental right. For the last half century, it's been guaranteed. But now, the conservatives on the Supreme Court are likely to open the door to rolling back all the progress protected by the right to privacy -- which could also include birth control, gay marriage, and interracial marriage.

We'll see if the justices have changed their minds since the draft was leaked. But no matter what the decision states, I will never stop fighting to secure these fundamental freedoms for Americans in all 50 states and protect them under law.
