John,

Many key goods are in short supply due to supply shortages for manufactured goods, bringing hardship to many hardworking Ohioans and their families.

We must prevent these situations in the future so that American families have access to the goods they need to live their daily lives. To prevent a supply crisis like this from happening in the future, we have to start building in America again.

We must transition from a global-scale supply chain to one that is oriented around American production. That’ll mean putting more workers between the customer and the end product, which means more jobs for Americans.

I will also fight for Ohio to be the go-to place for innovative industries with large production capacities. Ohio builds better than anyone else, and we should remain a leader in manufacturing in the future.

I’ve been pleased to see companies like Ford, Intel, and Hyperion making investments right here in Ohio, and when I go to Congress I want to increase investments like that ten-fold to ensure that we all see benefits from these deals.

Can you pitch in to help make sure Americans have access to all of the materials they need?

Sincerely,

Matthew Diemer
