Trump Administration Moves to End Food Stamps for 3 Million People

John: The Trump Administration proposed a new rule that would eliminate food stamps for over 3 million people, mainly working families with children who are trying to climb out of poverty.
The new rule would make it harder for families to put food on the table and prevent children from getting meals at school.
This is WRONG. Time after time, Trump and Republicans have insisted on making the lives of America’s most vulnerable as miserable as possible all the while they hand out billions to the wealthy few and big corporations. It truly is disgusting.
Children who have inadequate access to food suffer higher rates of poor health and hospitalization and run a higher risk of asthma and delays in cognitive development.
