I know that every one of us has felt the impact of inflation. Whether it be at the pump or the grocery store, car or house hunting. You all feel it, including our farmers and everyone working in agriculture–Arkansas’s largest industry. Inputs have risen dramatically. Fertilizer is more expensive. Diesel prices are astronomical.
I’ve been fighting for our farmers since I joined the Senate, and I will only fight harder.
As the Top Republican on the Senate Agriculture Committee, I have been calling on the Department of Agriculture and the Biden Administration to take action, giving them explicit solutions to help our farmers. The Biden Administration's lack of concern for our families and our agriculture communities is disgraceful.
