This Independence Day, we celebrate the generations of servicemembers – including two of my brothers, Paul and Sterling, who make me so proud – who have fought to defend our country and protect our liberty.

Thank you to all who have served and sacrificed to protect our democracy and secure our freedom. You are the best of us.

While we honor our independence with friends and family tomorrow, I’ll keep working to advance our American values and to provide for our veterans.
