Kia ora John,
There's just a week to go in the by-election campaign in Tauranga Moana. Election day is next Saturday!
I'm so proud of my local team who've hit the streets to support me, and to promote Labour's record and plans for Tauranga. Historically Tauranga has been tough mahi for Labour - we last won the seat in 1935. But my team hasn't been deterred, and they're enthusiastically flying the flag for Labour.
Of course, by-elections take a toll on volunteer teams. That’s why I’m emailing, John. Can you help the team in these final few days of campaigning, either by volunteering yourself or by donating?
If you're local and keen to volunteer, just reply to this email and we'll set you up.

If you're not in Tauranga, the best way to support our campaign is to donate.John, can you donate to support my Tauranga by-election campaign?
YES, I'LL DONATE <[link removed]>We may not have won Tauranga in a long time, but it's so important we grasp this opportunity to promote Labour's values in New Zealand's fastest growing city.
Thanks so much for your help and support - I've been overwhelmed by the aroha you've sent me from all corners of Aotearoa. I really do appreciate it.
Ngā mihi,
Jan Tinetti
