Protecting Our Kids Act passed the House, despite opposition from 98 percent of Republicans

Team – House Democrats just took a huge step toward stopping gun violence across America!

They passed the Protecting Our Kids Act, which will raise the minimum age to purchase a semiautomatic rifle to 21 years old and ban large-capacity magazines.

This legislation could save countless lives, but still, Republicans in the Senate are expected to vote AGAINST keeping children safe from gun violence.

72% of Americans think gun violence is a big problem, and if we’re finally going to push the Senate to act, we have to hear from people like YOU who believe it is past time that something is done.
