After Buffalo. After Uvalde. After Las Vegas, Parkland, Sandy Hook, Columbine, Sutherland Springs, Pulse, Virginia Tech, El Paso, Fort Hood, Aurora, Pittsburgh, and San Bernadino.

When will my colleagues in the U.S. Senate be able to find the political courage to do the right thing?

And while these horrific mass shootings grab the headlines, they hide the fact that carnage is happening all around the country, every day. Already in 2022, we have seen a total of 18,949 deaths from gun violence – 121 GUN DEATHS EVERY DAY.

No other country in the world faces this epidemic of violence. We can fix this, and we will win this fight against the NRA and cowardly Republican legislators who refuse to be held accountable to their constituents who are dying every day.
