Team: Today, Republican gubernatorial candidate and known insurrectionist Ryan Kelley was arrested by the FBI during a raid on his home for participating in the January 6th insurrection in 2021. 

Last night, Michiganders across our state were appalled when new footage was released showing Ryan Kelley storming the U.S. Capitol shouting, "Come on, let's go! This is it! This is-- this is war, baby!"

As our nation prepares to tune in to the first January 6th hearing tonight, we must remind ourselves of the role Republicans like Ryan Kelley played in this attack on our democracy and the impact they had on dismantling public trust in our elections.

Ryan Kelley isn't alone. Republicans Tudor Dixon, Garrett Soldano, Kevin Rinke, and Ralph Rebandt have equally shouldered the same baseless lies about the 2020 election. 

Team, it's up to us to put an end to these baseless claims made by extremist Republicans who are eroding public trust in our democracy, elections, and freedom. We need to come together now to stop Republicans from winning the very elections they are trying to destroy.
