UPDATE: Hearings on the January 6th extremist insurrection begin at 8:00 pm ET TONIGHT.
Do you agree that those involved in the violent attack – including Donald Trump – must be held accountable?

Tonight, in the first of six primetime hearings, the January 6 committee will present their investigation into Trump’s assault on our democracy and attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
Text messages show that Trump’s former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows was involved with conspiracy theories and efforts to promote the Big Lie. Make no mistake. They will lie, cheat and steal.
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife attended the rally and tried to mobilize White House GOP officials in key swing states to overthrow the 2020 Presidential election results.
Trump himself wanted to join the march on the Capitol, after working to seize voting machines in a desperate attempt to remain in power. They tried to steal votes and will stop at nothing.
Trump and his desperate extremists will do anything to hold onto power. So Marilyn needs to know: Do you agree that Trump and his allies, including those in Congress, must be held accountable for attempting to overthrow our democracy and take away our votes?

This is not normal, John. A losing U.S. President and his enablers staged a coup to overturn his election loss, and we’re about to learn the truth of exactly what happened and who was involved.
What the January 6 Committee has already discovered is dangerous – and we should all be scared of the bad actors who are determined to undermine our democracy which means taking away our basic rights.
Marilyn believes it’s time for all of us to confront the dangerous extremism and partisanship that motivated the deadly attack last year, and take steps to ensure that our democracy will be protected.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts,
