The hearings on the January 6th Capitol Insurrection begin tonight.

And before the media shit-storm and the political pundits get to work spinning the facts, I want to set a few things straight myself.

1. January 6th was an unprecedented and concerted effort by right-wing extremists, led by Donald Trump and supported by Lauren Boebert, to overthrow the US government.

2. Lauren Boebert stood on the side of the insurrectionists even after they left 5 dead, flew a Confederate Flag through the Rotunda, and chanted death threats to elected officials.

3. If we don’t hold Boebert and her cronies responsible for the deadly attack, we will no longer have a democracy.

We know the stakes.

That’s why we’re launching a lofty goal: We need to raise $25,000 for our grassroots campaign to defeat Lauren Boebert so we don’t let a traitor back in Congress to plot more deadly attacks.
