Our campaign is up against a lot — from major shifts in redistricting, to persistent attempts by the establishment to stop our success — and to overcome it, we’re going to need a massive organizing campaign across the new NY-16.
But John, that takes a lot of funds. We have to get our organizers trained and equipped with all the resources they need to go door-to-door across our district and make sure our movement is strong enough to overcome the establishment’s opposition. And because we don’t rely on billionaires and super PACs to fund our campaign, we need grassroots supporters like you to step up.
Our opponent and the big money backing their campaign want nothing more than to stop Jamaal from fighting for our progressive vision. But if we work together, coming together as neighbors across NY-16 and beyond, we can mobilize the people we need to be able to win on Election Day.
That work has already started, but we’re nowhere near the finish line. We have just 75 days until our hotly contested primary, and it’s crucial that we keep our momentum so that our progressive movement doesn’t lose steam.
From printed materials to spreadsheets, clipboards to office space, even gas money to coffee funds, organizing takes money as well as people. Every day, invoices like these come across my desk.
