FIRST AMENDMENT COMMITTEE MEETING, JUNE 24
The state is trying to force her to create and communicate messages that violate her beliefs. Lori Smith of 303 Creative is being forced to design and publish content on websites that conflict with her beliefs while being banned from writing about what she does believe on her own company site. Lori is currently facing investigations, fines, and other punishments if she does not comply with the law. The case will be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court.
And how about these others, do you know their offenses?
· Emily Mais, Assistant Principal
· Jack Phillips, Cake artist
· Kristine Waggoner, Esq.
· Monica Gill, Teacher
· David Stout, Student
They are all real people like you and me living simple lives, working at their modest professions, who have been or are being sued, publicly bullied or their livelihoods threatened over their right to freely speak or to exercise their religion.
We may think this happens to others and will never happen to us, but as Ryan Tucker of Alliance Defending Freedom says, “None of us knows when a legal issue may arise, what’s becoming apparent is that, in the current culture, it’s not ‘if’, but ‘when’ (Faith & Justice, May 2022, p. 7).
This is why the First Amendment Committee needs YOU. Our mission is to CHALLENGE VIOLAIONS OF FREE EXPRESSION. We need conservatives who can help to expose those in our county who would seek to silence us.
Please join us at our next meeting on June 24th at 3:00 p.m. (GOP Headquarters, 1555 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., Suite 500, WPB) to discuss HOW we can find out where the violations are occurring in Palm Beach County and how to expose them to get them stopped.
Remember, there is no one of us as strong as all of us!

GOVERNOR DeSANTIS CAMPAIGN UPDATE
Good afternoon,
Here is another campaign update!
Election Day 2022 is less than 6 months away and Governor DeSantis’s re-election campaign continues to make strides to keep Florida free for generations to come!
Governor DeSantis spent part of Memorial Day Weekend honoring our heroes at the Heroes Honor Festival in Daytona Beach, Florida. The festival was a public tribute honoring Vietnam Veterans.
Florida’s incredible First Lady Casey DeSantis spent time with supporters in Jackson County last week for their Reagan Day Dinner.
Governor DeSantis applauded the Special Olympics for dropping their vaccine mandate on athletes.
“Your rights or your freedoms should not be circumscribed by your decision to take or not take a COVID vaccine.” – Governor Ron DeSantis
On Thursday, Governor DeSantis signed the state’s Freedom First Budget for the Fiscal Year 2022-2023. The budget prioritizes the freedoms of Floridians to live, work, and have successful businesses in the state. The budget totals $109.9 billion and includes a record $1.24 billion in tax relief for Floridians.
On June 1st, Governor DeSantis announced more than $3 million in awards to military communities in Florida. These newly established programs grant funding to defense-dependent communities to support economic diversification efforts, local infrastructure projects, and military community relations.
Summer is fast approaching and that means beaches, BBQs, and BOAT PARADES! Team DeSantis has just launched an exclusive new line of boat flags, so you can show your support for Governor DeSantis on land and at sea. Stock up on these and more summer essentials to showcase your love for living in FREE Florida all summer long.
Republicans in Florida continue to gain momentum and this week, Republicans have over 154,000 more voter registrations than Democrats.
Thank you for supporting Governor DeSantis’s re-election campaign as he fights back against the radical Left and liberal media.

HELPING MAKE CHANGE, LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE.
I’ve been meeting with parents, students of all the D6 communities. Not only have I been listening, I’ve been taking notes! It is time for REAL representation! I am so thankful for all my volunteers; they have such a heart for our communities! They truly understand what is going wrong with our schools and know that by working together, we WILL restore our schools and make REAL changes! #YourChildYourVoiceYourChoice
MEMORIALDAY
This Memorial Day was extra memorable, as my father was also honored at the end of the ceremony. We need to teach the next generation about the sacrifices made by our service men and women. We honor the fallen, those who gave their lives to protect ours, and should also thank a veteran or active member as well.

KEVIN SORBO
Sorbo received international stardom when he booked the lead role in “Hercules, the Legendary Journeys.” Following that success, Sorbo had the lead role as Captain Dylan Hunt in “Gene Roddenberry’s, Andromeda.” The independent film “What If” was nominated for Best Family Movie of the Year by the Movie Guide Awards. Sorbo also received the Movie Guide Award for Most Inspirational Performance of the Year. Sorbo also starred alongside Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt in “Soul Surfer”, and the faith-based movie, “God’s Not Dead.” The $2 million budgeted movie became the most successful independent faith-based movie ever with over $140 million in theatrical, streaming and DVD sales. “Let There Be Light” was a movie he directed/acted/produced and this faith/family movie ranked number 4 out of the top 10 family movies of 2018. “Miracle in East Texas,” a comedy based on a true story set in 1930 was another movie Sorbo directed/acted in. Movie release is scheduled for late 2022. The movie also stars John Ratzenberger, Lou Gossett, Jr., and Sam Sorbo.
Sorbo also produced/narrated the documentary “Against the Tide,” shot on location in Oxford and Israel, that follows the career of Oxford math professor John Lennox in his life-long apologist debates against the world’s most famous atheists like Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens. Another documentary he narrates released in 2021 is “Before the Wrath” which chronicles the Book of Revelation and was the number one documentary on Amazon for five months.
The major motion picture “Reagan,” with Dennis Quaid playing the late President with Sorbo as his pastor, will release in the fall of 2022. Principal filming was just completed in December of 2021 for the movie “Left Behind: Rise of the Anti-Christ,” with Sorbo directing and acting in the movie based off the Jenkins/LaHaye award-winning books. Theatrical release is set for late 2022. Also releasing in 2022 is the documentary, “Eating With the Enemy.” Sorbo narrates this interesting look at The Last Supper and the 12 disciples. He also narrated the documentaries “Climate Hustle 2,” “The Pat Robertson Story,” and “Exodus: Patterns of Evidence.”
Kevin released his memoir True Strength: My Journey from Hercules to Mere Mortal and How Nearly Dying Saved My Life, which chronicles his near-death experience when he suffered three strokes and the battle back to regain his life. He also co-wrote the follow up book, True Faith, Embracing Adversity to Live in God’s Light with his wife, Sam.
Upcoming movies for 2022 include the western “Trailblazers” and “Irena’s Vow,” based off the true World War II story about a woman hiding a family of Jews for two years before finding a way for them to escape Germany. Kevin was also the recipient of the Lee Greenwood Patriot Award along with President Trump in May of 2021.
Since 1997, Kevin leads "A World Fit for Kids,” a successful mentoring model that trains inner-city teens to use school, fitness, sports and positive role models for themselves. World Fit is the number one after school program in the state of California for 25 straight years.
Sorbo resides in Florida with his wife, Sam and three children.
SAM SORBO
After high school in Pittsburgh, PA, Sam studied biomedical engineering at Duke University before pursuing a career in modeling. Modeling offered her the chance to travel and learn languages; she is fluent in five.
Sam moved to Los Angeles for acting, where dedication and perseverance gained her roles in several films (“Bonfire of the Vanities” and “Twenty Bucks”) and TV shows, including “Chicago Hope” and “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.”
Hercules introduced her to Kevin Sorbo, who swept her off her feet. They married in 1998 and she moved to New Zealand. While living in Auckland, Sam created and published a humorous and educational photo-book, Gizmoe: The Legendary Journeys, Auckland.
She is radio host of nationally-syndicated The Sam Sorbo Show, speaks publicly around the country and recently appeared in the movies "Hope Bridge" with Kevin Sorbo and Boo Boo Stewart, and "Just Let Go" with Ian Cusick, for which she won Best Supporting Actress at the Utah Film Festival.
Sam co-wrote, produced, and co-starred in the 2017 feature film "Let There Be Light" (executive producer, Sean Hannity; director, Kevin Sorbo.) To correspond with the film, Sam and Kevin wrote their devotional, Share the Light. Sam Sorbo is an education freedom advocate and the host of the Underground Education community. She is host of "School’s Out" with Sam Sorbo on Epoch TV. She has home educated her three children for over a decade. Her books They’re YOUR Kids (Reveille Press, 2017), Teach from Love: A School Year Devotional for Families (Broadstreet, 2019), and Words for Warriors (Humanix, 2021) are available at SamSorbo.com.

PLAYBOOK FOR UNDERGROUND LEARNING
JUNE 24-25
|
|
The repercussions of governments’ draconian COVID 19 policies are culturally far-reaching and societally transformative. Closing schools, masking, and the exposure of incendiary pedagogy like CRT, CSE, SEL, LGBT, and other propaganda have put parents on high alert, while recognizing that the degradation in our classrooms didn’t happen overnight. Homeschooling has grown nationally by over 50%.
GET EQUIPPED TO EDUCATE YOUR CHILDREN THE RIGHT WAY!
