These hearings are an opportunity to hold Trump and his cronies accountable for the Capitol insurrection.

But Republicans are hoping that these televised hearings fall under the radar and that the January 6th insurrection can be put behind us. It’s critical that we all tune in and show Republicans that we have NOT forgotten about these attacks — and we want justice to be served.

These hearings will set a national precedent. That’s because over 600 state Republican legislators were complicit in the lead-up to the January 6th insurrection, either through spreading misinformation, encouraging overturning the presidential election results or by being at the “Stop the Steal” rally.

Widespread public viewership will help ensure we can all uncover the truth about just how far Trump and his enablers went to undermine our democracy.
