John,
In just the last few weeks, we’ve endured heartbreaking acts of violence, the ongoing pandemic, and extreme weather events caused by climate chaos. The challenges we face today are immense, and they require us to act immediately at the ballot box and in the streets.
That’s why Food & Water Watch is joining together with the Poor People's Campaign at the Mass Poor People’s & Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington, on June 18th.
RSVP to join us in person or virtually!

What: Mass Poor People’s & Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington
When: June 18th at 9:30 a.m. ET
Where: In person at 3rd & Pennsylvania Ave. NW, or virtually!
Our communities are suffocating under the weight of systemic racism, poverty, costly healthcare, a rigged economy and a worsening climate crisis. At the center of these interlocking injustices stand 140 million people who are poor, and one emergency away from economic ruin. As long as our elected officials ignore the needs of these many millions, we all live in an impoverished democracy.
Sign up to join us on June 18th to change the narrative and build the power of those most impacted by these injustices! This event is both in-person and virtual.

Linked crises demand that we respond with a unified voice. On June 18, thousands of us will join together to do exactly that. Poor people will stand shoulder to shoulder with all justice-loving people to make the country hear and see their pain.
I hope to see you in Washington DC (or virtually) on June 18!
