Here's the latest, John. With hours left to meet tonight's fundraising goal, I'm still falling $1,932 short. Please, let me explain why this is so important:

I'm neck and neck with Marco Rubio in a race that could determine Senate control, and CNN contributors like James Carville have "zero doubt" that I CAN win.

The problem is that the GOP is stacking the cards against me because they KNOW Southern states like Georgia and Florida are the key to Democrats holding the Senate this year. Far-right outside groups are dumping millions into Florida, and the chair of the RNC attacked me personally.

I'm looking at my fundraising numbers now, and I won't be able to defend myself from these GOP attacks if I don't reach my goal in the next few hours.

Missing this goal and falling behind in this race could mean handing the Senate right back to Mitch McConnell, so I have to ask: Will you split $5 right now between my campaign and the Democratic Party of Georgia to help me defeat Marco Rubio, flip Florida blue and expand our Senate majority?
