In 2008, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Maine, New Hampshire and Colorado had the highest voter turnout in their history.

Immediately after, all five states introduced voter suppression laws.

We face this exact same problem ahead of the critical 2020 election.

Many states are already employing voter suppression tactics:

Closing polling places, purging voters from the rolls, enforcing unfair voter ID laws, and further complicating registration.

We can't let voter suppression taint the most consequential election of our lifetimes.

We have no choice but to educate, empower, and turn out a record number of voters as possible before the 2020 election.

$5 today can help us turn out 5 voters -- Could you rush in $5?

There are far too may barriers to voting -- and it's only getting worse.

But automatic voter registration could register a whopping 51 MILLION voters.

In an election as momentous as 2020, turning out new voters is more critical than EVER before.

Can you rush in $5 to help us turn out 5 voters?

iVote Civic Education Fund is dedicated to expanding our right to vote.

Oregon, California, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Vermont recently enacted bipartisan Automatic Voter Registration legislation, which between the five states will bring nearly 9 million new voters into our democracy.

We need your help to ensure other states give Automatic Voter Registration consideration as well.

Additionally, in most states, the secretary of state administers elections -- often with the power to interpret election laws, determine acceptable forms of ID, manage voter registration systems, and oversee early vote and Election Day.

These responsibilities give secretaries of state considerable control over implementing voting laws and the liberty to make influential policy decisions that impact key communities.

iVote Civic Educaiton Fund is working to increase awareness of the functions and impact of secretaries of state on voter participation because iVote is dedicated to the powerful notion that every eligible citizen should be able to vote.

We need you with us in this fight long term. But if you must leave us, you can unsubscribe here.
