This week, I introduced the Clean Competition Act. My new bill would directly address the problem of rising global temperatures while making American companies more competitive in the global economy.

Mounting carbon pollution threatens to disrupt life across the entire planet. But even as we witness one climate catastrophe after another, Big Polluters make it cheaper to pollute. We have to start incentivizing companies to do the right things on climate, and that's what this bill is all about.

It will help the more efficient domestic manufacturers, and it will help all American manufacturers against high-polluting foreign competitors (Chinese manufacturing tends to be three times dirtier than ours). 

There’s broad support for the idea, and I’m going to do everything I can to get it over the finish line – hopefully in reconciliation. But we know that the fossil fuel industry's Big Polluters are going to fight us every step of the way, and I can't take them on without your support.
