The Bronx and Westchester have many incredible and interesting resources and highlights that I’m so proud of but if there’s one thing our district is seriously lacking, it’s access to transportation.
Our community's health relies on our ability to access reliable transportation. With decades of disinvestment in our transportation systems, riders are frequently subject to delays and rising fares.
We’ll create more liveable neighborhoods within our district by bolstering public transportation. In turn, these investments will allow for economic growth through job creation and the need for additional affordable housing and will provide accessibility to the neighborhood to those with disabilities, and low-income families facing barriers by our current transit systems.

I’m committed to creating a more sustainable, accessible transportation system in District 34. As your State Senator, I will fight to:
* Support congestion pricing to reduce congestion and support public transit.
* Support the Tri-Borough Line and ensure that transit deserts in the Bronx are prioritized equitably.
* Increase Accessibility
* Fund more Ferry Access
* Build Multi-Modal Transit Hubs
* Grow access to Electric Vehicles (EV). Transportation emissions are the state's biggest source of greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for 28% of overall emissions.
* Expand and connect our regional trail network.
