Tuesday, I was honored to receive the support of so many of my fellow Californians and advance to the general election. 

As Attorney General, I wake up every day and go to work to protect public safety and defend Californians’ rights. Under my watch, the Department of Justice has taken thousands of illegal guns off the streets, cracked down on transnational criminal organizations and launched new investigation teams to fight child sex traffickers.

We are working around the clock to stand up to right wing attacks against our fundamental rights – from defending abortion protections and the right to privacy to strengthening our gun safety laws. 

The primary is over, but we cannot let up now. While ballots are still being counted, we cannot count on either of the Republicans who may still advance to the general election to protect the fundamental rights and values we stand for. With the Supreme Court on the verge of potentially invalidating Roe and overturning commonsense gun safety laws, there is far too much at stake.

I need your help to start the general election strong and ensure that California’s Department of Justice is led by someone who will fight for our California values. Will you chip in to my campaign?
