John, this November, Oregon faces a choice that will decide the future of our state. And Tina Kotek is a leader head and shoulders above the rest.

Oregon faces huge challenges, and we need real leadership. That leader is Tina.

Tina has proven time and time again that she gets things done. From housing to homelessness to education, Tina has led and made a big difference in Oregon.

We need that kind of leadership and action going forward. That’s why I’ve donated to her campaign, and it’s why I’m asking you to donate $10 today to help Tina become the next governor of Oregon. Leadership in part is about being willing to make tough choices. Tina can do that. She’s focused on the needs of people all across the state.

Tina is a bold thinker on some of the issues I care most about: addiction, housing and homelessness and the existential threat of climate change.

She led the way in reducing zoning red tape to make it easier to build homes. She led in providing resources to Oregon schools. She brings the kind of focus and persistence that we need in Oregon’s next governor. That’s why I am proud to endorse her.

Tina’s opponents are all wrong for Oregon. One is from an Oregon Republican Party that has turned extremist: It claims that Jan. 6 was a “false flag” operation and it would undo a woman’s right to choose. The other candidate is a so-called “independent” who has blocked efforts to address gun violence and climate change and who fought efforts to raise the minimum wage. Their values are not Oregon’s values. They would take our state backward. So let’s help Tina win this election. Thank you.
