John,

Minnesotans have always valued education. Since recently becoming a father (again), it’s only become more clear to me that safe, happy, healthy communities start with strong public schools.

That’s why I’m so proud to be working on this campaign. While Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan fight to fully fund our public schools, our Republican opponent, Scott Jensen, says we should spend “less money” on education.

Jensen even said that public schools need to “share the pain” and led the campaign against a school funding referendum to help build new schools in Waconia – even when the local school district was so strapped they had to put students in a warehouse space.

It’s the same sad story we’ve seen over and over again in Minnesota and across the country. When Republicans cut school funding to pay for tax breaks for corporations and their ultra-wealthy donors, our children pay the price.

John, for the sake of all Minnesota students, I’m going to do everything I can to keep Scott Jensen out of the governor’s office. Will you join us?

The work we do between now and Election Day will shape the future of our state for decades. If you’re able, make a contribution that works for you so we can keep moving Minnesota forward and ensure every child gets the education they deserve.

Thank you,

Berrett Gall

Prepared and paid for by Tim Walz for Governor

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota. Can you pitch in $5 now to help them stop extremism and keep Minnesota in DFL hands?
