Pennsylvania’s Governor’s race is rated a Toss Up according to FiveThirtyEight’s analysis.
This is one of the most competitive races in the country, plain and simple. Donald Trump won Pennsylvania in 2016 and then Joe Biden flipped it blue in 2020 — both by the narrowest of margins. 80,000 votes in Pennsylvania stood between President Biden and four more years of Donald Trump.

FiveThirtyEight laid out the stakes: “Though Governors have always been important for their influence on health care, education, tax policy and more, the 2022 gubernatorial elections feel particularly urgent.”
They’re urgent because our democracy is literally on the line. The ability to cast a vote, have that vote counted, and the truth about who wins elections is all at stake.
