Coalition Member,
We wanted to reach out and thank everyone who attended any of our Coalition events during May and make sure you know what events we have coming up in June!
June is Pride Month and our LGBTQ+ Caucus will be spearheading a MAJOR celebration with the Union County Democrats! We are constantly inspired by the work being done to keep New Jersey one of the most diverse and welcoming places to live.
June 19th is Juneteenth! We commemorate the ending of slavery in the United States and the Emancipation Proclamation reaching Black people across the country. Both Monmouth County and Somerset County Black Caucuses will be hosting separate full day of events for “Freedom Day” celebrations.
