Good afternoon friend,

Dignity in Dying supporters are some of the most exceptional people I know. Since the start of the year you’ve sent 9,881 emails and letters to parliamentarians from Orkney to St Ives. You’ve raised £42,917.55 for our Crowdfunder to raise awareness of our government petition. You’ve spread the word and helped us to gather 132,784 signatures backing assisted dying (and counting), securing a much needed debate in Parliament.

You may not know this Friend, but you’re already part of a community that fights for change on a daily basis. In the last week, 196 committed supporters took the next step and joined Dignity in Dying as members - we need another 804 to do the same. You can add strength to the campaign where it’s needed most. Please, join as a member today.

Our members support us for a range of reasons, but what they all have in common is a commitment to compassion, to fairness and to choice for dying people. They all believe that change is possible and that if we pull together, keep momentum high and the pressure on, we will change the law.

I know for a lot of people money is tighter than usual right now, but if you can spare just £2 a month to support our work we can take the campaign to the next level.

What you’re already doing is so powerful and has got us to this point. But to secure our long term success we need to make long term plans - that’s what being a member is all about.

My sincerest thanks,

Sadie Kempner
