There’s a lot at stake in the upcoming election: our children’s futures, our economic recovery, our abortion rights. Here are some of the issues that are on the ballot:
Education will be on the ballot. My administration has made historic investments in public schools and closed the school funding gap, without raising taxes, so that Michigan students have access to the best possible education.
Abortion rights will be on the ballot. The Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, meaning Michigan could revert to a 1931 statute criminalizing abortion. That’s why I filed a lawsuit and used my executive authority to urge the Michigan Supreme Court to affirm the right to abortion.
Our state’s infrastructure will be on the ballot. We’re fixing the damn roads and bridges with the right mix of materials to keep Michiganders safe.
And continuing to build up our economy will certainly be on the ballot. I’ve been supporting small businesses and securing key investments from companies like Ford and GM to create thousands of jobs in Michigan.
There’s so much at stake in this election. We know it will be tough, but I’m ready to take whatever heat comes my way, as long as you have my back. I’ve already been hit with more than $9 million in attacks – will you help me fight back and win this tough race with a donation of $5 today?
