John,
2020 will be the most important year of our lives in the fight to protect our food, water, and climate. With impeachment and the election looming, the Trump administration will do everything it can to push through as many environmental rollbacks as possible.
We’re going to keep fighting back, but we need the resources to do it. That’s why we’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $50,000 this Giving Tuesday. And thanks to a generous donor, your gift will be MATCHED dollar for dollar, doubling your impact.
Will you make a tax-deductible donation to Food & Water Watch and stand up for our food, water, and a livable climate in 2020? To get a head start for Giving Tuesday, your donation will be MATCHED by a generous donor up to $50,000, starting TODAY.

Fracking public lands. Backing out of the Paris climate deal. Rolling back food and water protections. Approving Keystone XL.1 It’s all on the table — and the Trump administration will smash and grab as much as they can for their fossil fuel allies in case he’s kicked out of office.
Just last month, Trump killed the Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) Rule, a regulation protecting streams and wetlands feeding into the drinking water of 1 in 3 Americans.2
This rollback comes after similar reversals of essential protections like the Clean Power Plan, Clean Car Standards, and a moratorium on drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.3
While Trump’s dangerous actions make headlines, thanks to your support, we’ve won some real victories for people and the planet. Food & Water Watch has helped states like Oregon and local municipalities like Ventura County prevent fracking by massive oil companies. We’ve helped stop Trump’s devastating budget cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). And we’ve helped cities pass water bills to protect their drinking water.

In 2020, there will be more on the line than ever before. Here are just some of the battles we are fighting — and can win, with your help:
-We’re fighting Trump’s plan to frack public lands. The Trump administration wants to open up millions of acres of land in and around national parks to fracking. This would destroy their natural beauty and put more emissions into the atmosphere. But we’re working to stop it.
-We’re helping to save Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) protections by helping states pass their own water regulations and pressuring Congress to restore the rule that Trump overturned.
-We’re suing Tyson Foods for deceptive advertising about their harmful and cruel chicken production practices. Tyson dumps tens of millions of pounds of toxins into our water every year, and the agri-giant needs to be held accountable.
-We’re working to slow climate change by stopping fracking and oil and gas pipelines. We defeated a pipeline planned for New York, banned fracking in Washington, and helped communities fight Big Oil & Gas. And that’s just in the past few months! We need to stop every effort to put more fossil fuel infrastructure into use and more global warming emissions into our air.
These are ambitious plans, and we need to have the resources to see them through. Will you donate to Food & Water Watch today?
Yes, I’ll donate to Food & Water Watch today to have my donation DOUBLED, up to $50,000, by a generous donor.
