John: The Supreme Court is only DAYS AWAY from deciding a landmark gun safety case that could have a major impact on the gun safety movement.

It's been 14 years since the Supreme Court considered a case about concealed carry permits — and the recent leak of another draft opinion indicates that the court has no issue overturning decades-old precedent. We MUST prepare ourselves for the worst outcome — which is why we're organizing NOW.

Here's the truth: Concealed carry is proven to increase gun violence — in some cases by as much as 15%. We are all less safe when anyone could be carrying a hidden weapon. But Donald Trump installed three ultraconservatives on the Supreme Court, and now they'll have the chance to do the NRA's bidding: expand concealed carry despite its dangers.

We may not be able to make this decision for the Supreme Court — but we can speak out NOW, before their decision is final, and reiterate that the majority of Americans support LIMITING, not expanding, concealed carry.
