Friend,
After some spirited primaries yesterday, it is time for every Democrat to unite and rally together to deliver solid wins in November.
Our delegation and congressional candidates need every one of us to come out and do the hard work to maintain Democratic control of Congress, just as our county and local candidates need our united support this November to ensure our Democratic values continue to be represented in communities throughout New Jersey. This is not just about voting – it’s about canvassing, making calls, donating, and putting in the time to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.
Sign up to get involved on a Congressional campaign now.
The stakes are too high for our state and our country.
Just in recent weeks, the GOP has demonstrated that their views are incredibly out of touch with the people of New Jersey by pushing abortion bans, refusing the critical need for common sense gun safety legislation, and even failing to properly address the national baby formula crisis. By ignoring the critical issues facing everyday New Jerseyans, once again the Republicans are proving that they would rather pander to extremists than present a concrete plan to actually lead our state and our nation forward.
The challenges we face as a party from the right have never been more pronounced and, together, we are strong. But we will need every ounce of that strength to stand against the rhetorical liberties and fear-mongering that have become the commonplace weapons of choice from our opponents. We need to stand strong and we need to stand together.
We need to take our anger and make it count; showing the Republican Party that we will not stand by as they attempt to decimate our rights and protections. We cannot let extremism become normalized and we can not let extremism win — we must continue to be united behind our Democratic candidates and we must educate, activate and mobilize voters who will stand against this far-right ideology. It will not be an easy task, but I know that together we can accomplish it and defend our majorities in Washington and here at home.
