Open enrollment ends December 15! The Trump administration is sabotaging the Affordable Care Act by cutting the advertising budget and reducing the time people can sign up. Individual states are trying to pick up the slack by getting the word out there, but they need our help!
Please go to GetCovered.NJ.gov ([link removed]) , the NJ State official page for coverage, and sign up if you or your family needs health care. Then share the webpage with others, follow and share their Facebook page at [link removed] and follow and share their Twitter feed at [link removed]
The more people who sign up, the more uninsured people get help - and the lower the costs are for everyone.

We have some bills that were passed by the Assembly, but now need to go to the Senate. It's time to contact your State Senators ([link removed]) and tell them to do the right thing.
* The New Jersey Assembly passed a bill ([link removed]) to provide funding to the health care providers (like Planned Parenthood) who lost funding because of Trump's attack on Title X. Now it's on to the Senate, so contact your Senator ([link removed]) to let them know you support bill S4103.
* Kudos to the NJ Assembly for unanimously voting to bar the "gay panic defense" ([link removed]) . Now it's going to the Senate, so please take a moment to contact your Senator ([link removed]) and ask them to support this bill.
* The Assembly passed a bill to allow people on parole or probation to be allowed to vote. Use this handy form from the NJ Institute for Social Justice and contact your Senator to ask them to pass this in the Senate. ([link removed])
* Not yet voted on, so we still need everyone to contact their legislators about Driver's License's for all. Let's Drive NJ has a handy web page ([link removed]) where you can find out whether your Assemblymembers and Senators have expressed public support for this yet, and then click through to contact them.
