Our fossil fuel emissions are not only causing devastating climate consequences at home, they’re also causing great harm to nations that contribute very little to global emissions. Take a look at this:

The United States has historically been the biggest fossil fuel polluter in the world, but the consequences of this large-scale pollution are disproportionately affecting developing countries who lack the necessary resources to adapt, making them vulnerable to the ongoing climate crisis.

If our elected officials continue to prop up the fossil fuel industry, we will not only make things worse for the United States but for populations around the world that are already in severe climate distress. We must break the cycle of fossil fuel pollution by fighting like hell against the stranglehold Big Oil has on our political system.
