John,
Please take a moment to read this short email.
To say there is a lot going on in the world is the understatement of the century, but right now Congress is considering two bills that could stop the worst abuses of Big Tech’s monopoly power and put people like you and I back in control of our own tech. The bills have actual bipartisan support and are poised to pass in a matter of days. If we don’t take advantage of this opportunity in front of us and help these bills get to a vote, we may lose our chance at meaningful change for years to come.
We’re up against some of the most powerful companies in the world and their lobbying groups.
Stand up to Big Tech →
That’s why I’m writing today. Rapid response funds—for connecting calls to Congress, whipping up campaign pages, organizing concerted action, launching billboards—aren’t the sexiest sell in advocacy work but they’re absolutely critical to making sure we can take advantage of every chance we have to win for human rights in the digital age. If you care about curbing Big Tech’s (many) abuses of power, will you chip in $3, $10, $15 or even $30 a month so we can oppose their misinformation campaigns and disingenuous lobbying efforts?
Chip in to fight Big Tech →
