What a night last night!

Monica Tranel had a great showing last evening to capture the Democratic nomination to represent the Western District, and Penny Ronning won a decisive victory in the Eastern district: our state party is confident and united after a great primary night here in Montana.

However, we can’t say the same for our Republican counterparts.

Ryan Zinke nearly lost his primary despite a Trump endorsement, national name recognition, and more than a four-to-one cash advantage over his opponent. They haven’t yet called the race in his favor, and the disarray could spell trouble for the unity of the Republican party this November.

We’ve got to take advantage, as this is our best chance to give Montanans a representative they can trust will fight for them.
